Pregnant with baby number 2

So this may not be news to some of you who either read my old blog or watch my YouTube channel, but I am indeed pregnant with baby number 2. My little girl is going to be a big sister and I cannot be more excited for her. 

As I write this post I am exactly 17 weeks pregnant, which seems impossible as it is flying by right now. 

Me and Liam found out we were expecting on the 3rd of August 2019 when I was exactly 4 weeks gone. The tests were cheap ones and the lines were very faint so I ended up buying another brand of test which was a lot clearer. 


I am so excited to become a Mum of two but I am so nervous to, both me and Liam are only children in a sense of it. Liam has no siblings at all but I have a half sister and half brother, they are both quite a lot older than me and I didn't grow up with them, they lived in Lincolnshire. 

I was going to do weekly updates but feel as if I am repeating from my vlog so am going to keep the pregnancy updates to a minimum on here. But I would love it if you could join our journey of becoming a family of four.

I have recently started making my own Cottage pie with a recipe that I have tweeted to work four our fussy family. I find that a cottage pie is such an Autumn/Winter staple as it feeling like such a warm, hearty meal, one that is a proper comfort meal.  I recently started making the meal and found that I didn't have a packet mix in so decided to find a recipe to try out, the first one I found sounded good but I changed it slightly to fit our family, Lils isn't keen on fresh onion ad none of us like celery. Burger seasoning recipe

With the weather warming up and the BBQ season well on its way, I wanted to share a recipe with you that is a firm favourite in our house, this recipe will help elevate you BBQ tastes with the yummiest burgers that have so much flavour.  Its such a simple seasoning to make and one that you will be able to store for future use too. 1 tsp Salt 1 tsp Freshly ground black pepper 1 tbsp Paprika 1 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder 1 tsp Onion powder 1/4 tsp Cayenne pepper We add these herbs and spices into a pestel and mortar and given them a good mix together. When the time comes to make these tasty burgers just grab some 5%  mince and shape into burgers, we now have a burger press to make them more even, then when cooking sprinkle some of the seasoning onto the top side of the burger and flip, then repeat till both sides are covered evenly.  The summer holidays can be scary for some parents knowing that there budget doesn't stretch far, I try to keep to a strict budget so we don't go beyond our means, this means that some days are in with free activites and crafts. So here are some free/cheap ideas to keep you and the kids entertained over the holidays. Rock painting and hiding Lego building Pet pals workshop (Pets at home) Den making Baking ( Cookies , Cupcakes ) Cinema (kids club) National trust (vouchers are very useful) Beach/park  Summer reading challenge (local libraries) Scavenger hunt / nature hunt These are just a few things that we get up to in the summer holidays.
