Cheesy garlic pin wheels | Recipe and method

We recently tried out a new recipe and it was one that I need to share.  To go with our homemade pizzas that we do we diceded to try out some cheesy garlic pin wheels, these are a take on our  pizza pin wheels  and ones that we will definitly be trying again. Recipe: 100g salted butter 1/2 cloves garlic grated (depending on how garlicy you like it) 2 tsp finely chopped parsley puff pastry (ready rolled) 100g cheddar 50g mozerella Method: - Preheat oven to 200c/180c fan/gas mark 6 - Melt butter and add both the garlic and parsley - Mix well - Spread the butter evenly across your pastry - Sprinkle both cheese across evenly - Roll the pastry lengthway all the way - Slice into 1cm wide pieces and place them on your tray - Cook for around 15-20 minutes until golden and pastry is flakey These would make a great side dish to a pasta meal instead of garlic bread.  Victoria x -

Pasta bolognese recipe

I have really been enjoying cooking lately and experimenting with different things, this is more of a simple recipe and one that goes down so well with the kids, a simple bolognese sauce with things that are normally in your cupboard.  We do normally bulk this out with some veggies for the girls which certainly adds to the flavour and can make the meal go even further.  Recipe: 500g Mince meat, normally beef 1 x pasata carton 1 tbs tomato paste 1 tsp Garlic granules 1 tsp Onion granules  (better if you don't like the texture of cooked onions) 1 tsp Mixed herbs Salt and pepper Vegetables we add: Mushrooms Peppers sweetcorn Method: 1. Brown off your mince and drain excess oil then place back in the pan. 2. If you are using mushrooms or peppers then add now to slightly cook. 3. pour in the pasata and tomato paste and stir in well. 4. Pizza pin wheels | Recipe and method

Today we have a recipe for pizza pin wheels, I know that these are quite a well know simple recipe but I wanted to share just incase you haven't heard of these as they are so yummy and easy to make. There are also so many ways that you can change these up to suit your prefernces but I am going to tell you the basics of what you need. You will need: - 1 packets of rolled puff pastry - Some pizza sauce or tomato puree (we use homemade pizza sauce) - Grated cheese, the stronger the better. Extras - Ham - Pepperoni - Mushrooms - Bacon - Chorizo To make: - Preheat oven to gas mark 6/200oC - Lay out your puff pastry - Top with sauce right up to the edges - Sprinkle over you cheese, make sure it is a generous covering - Add any other topping you like - Roll the pastry from the side to create a spiral roll - Cut even section around 2 cm wide  - Place on baking tray on side and cook for around 20 minutes These are really simple to make and everyone in our house enjoys them, they...

Cheese and Potato pie | Recipe

  So a lot of you have requested my cheese and potato pie recipe over on my meals of the week videos, this is a hairy bikers recipe with a little bit of a change as I read the recipe wrong the first time. It's such a simple recipe yet so tasty and could go with a fair few things, we personally use it with our  Honey pulled gammon  which accompanies it so well.  For this recipe you will need: 3 Medium Potatoes Grated cheddar cheese 1 slice of bread made into breadcrumbs Salt and pepper Butter for mashing Method: - Preheat the oven to 190oC/ gas mark 5 - Blend a slice of bread until it becomes bread crumbs - Boil your potatoes until ready to mash then mash as normal with butter - Add 2/3 of of your grated cheese in with the potatoes and mix well - Add half of you cheesy mash to an oven proof dish around cms round and flatten - Add around half of the left over grated cheese and top with the rest of the mash and flatted - Mix the rest of the cheese with the bread crumbs ...
