Burger seasoning recipe

Image
With the weather warming up and the BBQ season well on its way, I wanted to share a recipe with you that is a firm favourite in our house, this recipe will help elevate you BBQ tastes with the yummiest burgers that have so much flavour.  Its such a simple seasoning to make and one that you will be able to store for future use too. 1 tsp Salt 1 tsp Freshly ground black pepper 1 tbsp Paprika 1 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder 1 tsp Onion powder 1/4 tsp Cayenne pepper We add these herbs and spices into a pestel and mortar and given them a good mix together. When the time comes to make these tasty burgers just grab some 5%  mince and shape into burgers, we now have a burger press to make them more even, then when cooking sprinkle some of the seasoning onto the top side of the burger and flip, then repeat till both sides are covered evenly. This will help the seasoning cook into the meat and make the flavour run througout.  Once cooked serve your burgers the way you like, I personally go...

January recap | 2024

Image
Well that's the first month of 2024 done and it felt like it went on forever. We had a very quiet month and not the greatest but we certainly had our good days too. We stayed off our year in complete chaos as we had to move everything from our living room so our ceiling could be replaced, it was a nightmare and was so stressful but we finally have a ceiling with no hole. Lils tried her roller blades out for the first time and we tried to spend some time outside but the weather has been so cold, we finally have some better weather and I am hoping to get out more with the girls.  We did have a lovely afternoon out for Dad's birthday, we went for a roast in a lovely restaurant and enjoyed so well needed family time as Christmas and New year were a write off. Other than that it has just been school and my course which I am almost done with, just one more workbook to do and this will be complete. Roll on February, we have a few plans for this month and hopefully it has a...
