May Recap | 2023

Wow! We are just about to make it half way though 2023, how is that possible? We have had a pretty full on month but its been a good one full of making memories. We started off the month with Jack in the green, this is a local event that happens every May day and is a celebration of Spring/Summer. This is probably one of my favourite events that our local town put on as its such a positive and fun atmosphere. The same week we also took a trip to Circus Zyair  with Liam's Mum and watched King Charles Coronation.  The weather this month has been beautiful and we have tried to take full advantage of it and enjoy the sun while we can, we have been over Nannies garden, going on walks and generally being outside in the fresh air (I do wish we had a garden though). On the 25th of this month Liam and I celebrated our 15th anniversary, I can't believe we have made it this far, he has honestly been my rock through some of the hardest times and we have laughed until we have cr

The Observer play kit by Lovevery | AdGifted

With Olivia now being 3 she is learning more about to to be independent and how to control her emotions and lovevery have a play kit to help with the development of this stage. The observer play kit comes with some great tools and toys to help them understand themselves more. We have kindly been gifted this play kit to try out and review for you, this is probably my favourite box to date and I am in love with everything that came with it.  The first thing in the box is the plan ahead weather board, this is by far my favourite as we can change it each morning and work out our day together, this helps to maintain routine and helps develop the idea of weather and seasons. The kits also came with some stickers for shoes, they come in two parts which ypu put in a pair of shoes to make the picture whole, these help them learn what way shoes go around.  Next in the box we're wooden emotional dolls and the emotion book set, these are both great for this age as they ar

Circus Zyair

Recently we visited Circus Zyair on there UK tour and what a night it was, full of fun and daring acts that had us on the edge of our seat.  We arrived around 40 minutes before the show started and were taken into the big top around 10 minutes later, once seated there was a chance to buy some food from the stand at the back, some souvenirs or some fun bits for the kids such as inflatable hammers, toches and wiggles. The show started with the 'clown' figure warming the audience up  he was a great character and made a few appearances through the show as others acts were setting up, he even performed some Tik Tok dances too. The show was made up with so many different acts with some great talent and do crazy tricks. On of my favourite wad the high wires, I don't think I have seen it live, the performers for this were amazing and had everyone in awe of what they were doing. Others acts included acrobatics from a chain high up in the big top, rollerblading tricks, juggling, the
