Easter basket 2024

Image
With Easter fast approaching I thought I would share what bits the girls have in there Easter basket this year. I have created one of these every year and is full of bits and bobs to keep the girls entertained over the 2 week holiday from school/nursery. This year I actually purchased a new basket for them to have as I really couldn't resist, it's a little bunny cloth basket which was from primark and cost £4. The crafty contents are either from Morrions or The works and the sweet treats included are from Aldi. Firstly we have so Easter paper chains, something a little different and new, these were just £1 from Morrisons and whilst there I noticed little hopping animals for £1.25 each, I picked up a bunny and a chick which the girls can share. From The Works I picked up some paint your own characters which come with paint and brushes, these were £1.50 each, I also picked up a snap game for £2 and an Easter card set for £2 as well, these will definitely keep the girls happy.  La...

Autumn Outfit | Mummy OOTD

Image
Today is a quick post from me and I work on our latest review from our day out last weekend. I wanted to share a little outfit post as I am here for the Autumn weather and the cosier outfits. Today I have gone quite casual but I have realised that everything is from Primark down to my socks (who doesn't have primark socks). Starting off with my t-shirt, this is just one of the simple plain black t-shirt which I have had for a while now, on top I am wearing this plaid shirt , I brought this on a whim and really wasn't sure but I am now in love. I am wearing just some comfy blue skinny jeans on the bottom, the sizes are a lot better with this style and are comfy to wear all day. Lastly I have these little brown tassel boots , they are fluff lined and just so comfy to wear.  I am so in love with this outfit and I am feeling very Autumnal, its something that I may be wearing a lot this season. I really hope you like this sort of post. Victoria

Birthday present for Lils | Present ideas for an 11 year old

Image
Lilly is 11 in just a couple of days time and I wanted to share what gifts we have brought for her. As you may well see its very stitch heavy, she is massively into stitch right now so it was easy to find so cool gifts. I really have struggled to fine things for her this year so its more little items than big ones and we do have a fun day planned out. Smiley slippers - These are something that she has had on her wish list for a while, I am excited for her to open these and enjoy them. Stitch Squishmallows  - This was a win win when I found this, she loves squishmallows and stitch so both of them together was perfect for her to have. Lego friends set - Lils has been into Lego friends for years and they have recently been updated so thought we would try out one of the new sets. Stitch pjs  - I saw these in Primark a while back and new that I had to get these for her, they are more of a grown up set which I feel she will really appreciate. Stitch make up brushes ...

Cool Summer Outfit

Image
The UK is currently going through the first heatwave of 2023 and when we say heatwaves we mean muggy, sticky hot weather. This year I am jumping out of my comfort zone and showing off my legs and trying something a little different. I wanted so share this outfit idea for you all as its easy to throw on and keeps you cool. I wore this green play suit/romper from shein, i am absolutely in love the way it looked and felt wearing it. I paired with a pair of white sliders from primark. I felt that this play suit is very flattering with the way it sits and the belt to sinch it in a little at the waist. Sadly shein don't sell this exact play suit but I have linked 2 below that are very similar if you are interested and have also linked the sliders that I have paired with the outfit, for reference I am a size 14 in most of my clothes and this fit so well. Green play suit - no belt Green play suit - with belt White sliders I hope this might have given you some outfit inspiration...
