A pocket of my life

  We are moving house!  We have lived in our current flat for just over 12 years, it has been the only home that both the girls have every really known and this makes me emotional but I am excited for the next chapter. At the beginning of last month we got a house viewing and absoloutly loved the house so put an offer in for rent, we were told that he had a difficult choice to make as there had been a lot of interest in the place. A couple of days went by and we got a phonecall offering us the house which I still can't believe. fast forward a week and the references were going through and the deposit was being paid, then it was time to get boxes for packing. This has been the most stressful part I think as our house has just been a constant mess of boxes, charity bags and rubbish bags as we have had a huge clearout at the same time.  We have booked a moving company to help as Liam's mates all work and we didn't want them using there holiday to help us, so we have had to l...

Wow! What can I say? Wednesday the 9th of October was such an amazing expereince and one that I will never forget, I actually saw Mcfly live! Back in February Mcfly announced that they would be celebrating there 21st birthday with a special concert at the o2 arena and I needed to go, I had never seen them live but had followed them since pretty much day one. The first day sold out but they added an extra date and I took the opportunity to get tickets. Fast forward to last Wedneday when the day actually came, we drove up, leaving at around 4.30pm as had to drop Olivia off at my Dads for the night. We arrived at the o2 carpark at at around 6.15pm after getting food on the way. We prebooked parking for £27 which garantueed us a place, parking was simple and is only a 5 minute walk from the o2 itself.   Today we received an email confirming some settling in sessions for this little one and I really don't think I'm ready, in 2 weeks times she will be having 1 hour on the first day to try out and 2 hours on the second day.  The last 2 years have gone so fast and I will really miss her but I am hoping that it will help with her separation anxiety being a covid baby. I really hope that she will be ok without me near her but I think it will do both of us the world of good having some time to experience different things. Nursery is an exciting time though and I believe that it really will be amazing for her, to grow bonds with other, to communicate with people other than her parents and sister and do many things that we can't do at home.  I am emotional about it and I know there will be a few tears but I need to let her go and needs to learn to trust others other than me. We will get there but I think its gonna take longer than it did with Lils.
