 Me and Liam recently tied the knot and we didn't want to break the bank but didn't want to comprimise on the day itself. We have been waiting for a very long time to get married and I wanted it to be a day I will never forget. May, what can I say? You were a blast and I wish we could live it over again! The month started with a trip to the travelling fun fair, the girls have never been to one before but they had an amazing time.  We also celebrated May day the only way people for our area know, with Jack in the green and the May day bike run, this honestly sets the month off in such a lovely way, everyone seems happy and its just so much fun.  Most of the month we have been finalising the plans for mine and Liams wedding, we have been crafting, organising and just generally getting ready. I took a day off work to enjoy some time with him, we had lunch together and had a mooch around our local town. The weekend before we got married I went and got my nails done, and then I got to celebrate one of my friends hen do's. This is just a little post, one that I cannot believe I am writing. This week me and Liam finally became husband and wife in what I will call a day to remember.  Liam and I have been together 18 years and engaged 17 years so it really has been a long time coming. We have been through so much over the years and I am forever grateful for him and everyone that has helped us get to where we are. I plan on writing more about our wedding in a future post but wanted to share this as soon as possible. Victoria x

Wow! What a crazy full on month again and one that will stay with me forever. The month started off with our second house move of the year, it has been so stressful and crazy but we are in and the keys are handed back for the other house now so onwards and upwards.  Most of the month has been working, unpacking and Sorting and just being Mum but I have had a few days which have been incredible.  This month I got to attend an event and meet the wonderful Axel Scheffler, the illistrator of the Gruffalo, stickman and many more. He was lovely and we managed to get a book signed by him. I also got to meet Thomas Taylor, an author and illistrator who actually created the first cover for the Harry Potter books. It was such a lovely couple of hours and one I won't forget in a rush. Just over a week ago, I was very lucky to be part of an important day, a day that had been postponed twice, it was my Dad's wedding day. I am not going to lie, my emotions were all over the place leading up to the day and during too. I am so happy that my Dad has found some to be happy with and to look after him but it obviously brought Mum back up and the idea that she is no longer with us. The day started off with a lot of stress trying to get us all ready with hair, make up and making sure I had everything (which I didn't). Heading to Dad and Angie's house, piled up with outfits, cakes and bags.
