Halloween Boo basket 2025

Image
Every year I create a boo basket for my girls, it's nothing special or elaborate but my girls absoloutly love this. I try to make all the seasons speical and magical and try to create memories in any way I can. This boo basket contains some crafts including paint your own sun catchers and candy skull statues, and a sticker book, some sweet treats including chocolate pumpkins and decorate you own gingerbread skulls, two pumpkin face maskes and a bluey (booey) character to add to the set that we have. I try to find things that will keep them busy over the half term and gives them something to do on a cold or rainy day.  This basket proboable set me back around £15 max and sometimes I ended up gettting a few bits in the sale after Halloween just after the previous Halloween.  Victoria x

Every year for as long as I can remember I have created what is now known as a boo Basket and I wanted to share what I put in to make my girls smile.  I wanted to point out that this is normally just a few crafts for Halloween, nothing special but something that will keep the girls entertained.  I have started this year's Basket with a couple of Halloween colouring books with stickers, they are always fun for the girls to use. We have some spooky glowsticks for them to wear during treat of treating. We then have some Slime kits, I don't know whether that was the best thing but I know the girls will love to make it from scratch. I have also added a spooky bead kit with Halloween coloured beads and string. I have finished the basket off with some chocolate mice from aldi as a little sweet treat. I love creating these and will continue to do so for years to come, it's something that I know my girls will enjoy and get use out of.  Victoria x

Our boo basket 2023

It's never too late to create a boo basket and they really don't have to break the bank, I have created this basket for under ten pounds and both my toddler and preteen have enjoyed it. I normally create something like this with things that can keep busy over the Halloween half term normally with a little sweet treat too. This year I have included a Halloween activity pack which I believe was from poundland, the scratch mask craft was from Coop who have some great things for Halloween and the last craft was glow in the dark sun catchers from the works. I have 2 glow in the dark pumpkin necklaces for when the girls fo trick or treating, and lastly we're some ghost lollies from Morrisons which have been devourered already.  I really enjoy making these for the girls and have done for many years but please don't ever feel like you have to create things like this, it's just something that makes me and the girls happy.
