A pocket of my life

Last month Lilly turned 13, officially a teenager! I really struggled to find what she wanted for her birthday but got there in the end. I wanted to share with you all the bits that we got as it may help someone else find something for a gift.  Lilly has main presents and I also make a paper mache egg which I fill with little bits and bobs for her to pick out.  Six reveal ticket and Scrapbook stickers  - Lilly's main present was a trip to see SIX in Brighton on her birthday so we got a reveal ticket and some stickers too. W7 Skin care  - Skin care is important to her, especially with her turning 13, I founf this set which was very reasonably priced adn seems to work well too.  Wednesday Lego set  - Who doesn't love Wednesday? Lils really enjoyed the series and wanted some Lego for her birthday so thought this was a great idea.  Toothless Funko Pop  - Lilly really got into how to train your dragon this year and loved the character, ...

Lilly is 11 in just a couple of days time and I wanted to share what gifts we have brought for her. As you may well see its very stitch heavy, she is massively into stitch right now so it was easy to find so cool gifts. I really have struggled to fine things for her this year so its more little items than big ones and we do have a fun day planned out. Smiley slippers - These are something that she has had on her wish list for a while, I am excited for her to open these and enjoy them. Stitch Squishmallows  - This was a win win when I found this, she loves squishmallows and stitch so both of them together was perfect for her to have. Lego friends set - Lils has been into Lego friends for years and they have recently been updated so thought we would try out one of the new sets. Yesterday was my 32nd birthday and it was such a lovely day. I wanted to share my day as a little reminder for me as well as showing a normal birthday as a Mum of 2. It started off as an early start with it being the first day back to school, so 7am the girls came in and woke me instead of my alarm. We had a cuddle and a chill before waking Liam up for coffee and pressies.  The girls brought my presents over and helped ne open them, I got some lovely gifts and felt very lucky and spoilt. It was then time to get the girls some breakfast and enjoy some time before the school run madness.  After dropping Lils off we headed back home for a bit as it was Olivia's day off nursery so we played for a bit and I sorted my hair and makeup.  This year I have really struggled to find gifts for Olivia who is turning 3 tomorrow so I thought it would be a great idea to share what we have to help others out. We also had a day out with Olivia at  Brighton Sea life  which we thought that she would really enjoy.  Olivia is at the age where she is only just really getting into things but already has a lot of things that she loves so I wanted to get her things that she would really enjoy and learn from too.  We have  The Smeds and the Smoos  book for her which is her favorite Julia Donaldson thing to watch right now, we absoloutly love all her stories and its a great addition to her ever growing collection. The  Rocket bath bomb  from Zimpli Kidz is a little added extra as I saw it on amazon and thought she would enjoy it, just a little something to put a smile on her face. I officially have a 10 year old, how has that happened?! The years really have flown by and she has changed so much recently, I can tell that she is playing with toys less and wanting more mature things which makes me sad, they are little for such a small amount of time. This has probably one of the hardest years to find gifts for her so I wanted to share that we had actually brought for her. This includes one main gift and little ones to go with it, I also create a paper mache egg that has sweets and little toys in such as LEGO dots and fidgets. I can't quite believe I am writing this post but my baby girl is turning 2 tomorrow and I wanted to share what we have got for her birthday this year. I personally find these types of posts useful to give me ideas for presents and hopefully it could help some of you too. We have tried to get a mixture of toys as she is into so much right now and I am so happy with what we have managed to get for her, most of the items we have found on amazon and I have linked everything below.  At the moment she really likes Peppa pig and asks for it on a daily so we have a couple of bits linked to that, she also loves Fisher price little people and they are a great toy to teach children with about occupations and day to day life. we have got her some duplo for the bath, she loves bath time and building so I thought these would be brilliant for her.
