Preteen outfit | Year 6 prom

Image
So Lilly is coming to the end of her primary school time and to celebrate she has just attended her year 6 prom! A night which I don't think she will ever forget by the sound of it. The school provided a dj, food, lights and photo opportunities for her and her friends to enjoy. Some were dressed for the occasion whist others opted for more of a casual look.  I wanted to share Lils look for the evening and prove that these outfits don't have to break the bank.  Her dress is a Lipsy dress which I purchased of vinted for just £7.50, it was still new with tags and was I'm excellent condition.  Her shoes are ones that she already owned, these were just some black comfy trainers which is the in thing to do these days.  Her make up was all from primark and she did it herself, she looked amazing. This was paired with an initial necklace which was also purchased from Primark for just £4. She seemed to have an amazing time and came out which a huge smile on her fac...

Mummy Outfit | Feeling fresh

Image
A quick little outfit post as I am in love with this dress and it doesn't break the bank either. I have recently been looking into dresses more, I have always been a jeans gal and pretty much live in them so felt it was time for a change. This dress is an absolute bargain and one that was definitely a keeper the moment I tried it on, I found this on Temu when looking for some summer ideas that I liked, I purchased size 14-16 which fits like a glove for me and fits perfect for the sizing, the middle has an elasticated area which makes it super comfy to wear. The material is light and floaty and perfect for the warmer weather. I have paired this with my 'V' necklace that the girls got me for my birthday and a simple set of white sliders from primark but would love to get a nice pair of sandals to finish it off.  If you wish to check this dress out then I leave the link  here Victoria

Autumn Outfit | Mummy OOTD

Image
Today is a quick post from me and I work on our latest review from our day out last weekend. I wanted to share a little outfit post as I am here for the Autumn weather and the cosier outfits. Today I have gone quite casual but I have realised that everything is from Primark down to my socks (who doesn't have primark socks). Starting off with my t-shirt, this is just one of the simple plain black t-shirt which I have had for a while now, on top I am wearing this plaid shirt , I brought this on a whim and really wasn't sure but I am now in love. I am wearing just some comfy blue skinny jeans on the bottom, the sizes are a lot better with this style and are comfy to wear all day. Lastly I have these little brown tassel boots , they are fluff lined and just so comfy to wear.  I am so in love with this outfit and I am feeling very Autumnal, its something that I may be wearing a lot this season. I really hope you like this sort of post. Victoria

Cool Summer Outfit

The UK is currently going through the first heatwave of 2023 and when we say heatwaves we mean muggy, sticky hot weather. This year I am jumping out of my comfort zone and showing off my legs and trying something a little different. I wanted so share this outfit idea for you all as its easy to throw on and keeps you cool. I wore this green play suit/romper from shein, i am absolutely in love the way it looked and felt wearing it. I paired with a pair of white sliders from primark. I felt that this play suit is very flattering with the way it sits and the belt to sinch it in a little at the waist. Sadly shein don't sell this exact play suit but I have linked 2 below that are very similar if you are interested and have also linked the sliders that I have paired with the outfit, for reference I am a size 14 in most of my clothes and this fit so well. Green play suit - no belt Green play suit - with belt White sliders I hope this might have given you some outfit inspiration...

Mummy Outfit | Hoping for spring

Its been a long time since I have written an outfit post and never done one on this blog but I am in love with this outfit right now so wanted to share it. The colours in this outfit get me excited for spring and warmer weather even though I do love a bit of snow. I am not the most confident in my body and know I could do with losing a few pounds but I do love my sweet treats and I have a man who loves me for who I am.  Cardigan: The cardigan is from N utmeg in Morrisons and is only £13, the colour is gorgeous the the cardigan itself is cosy, soft and warm which is perfect for most of our seasons.    Jeans: The jeans are from Simply be which I brought through Next these are my comfiest jeans and fit so well, these retail for £24. T-shirt: The T-shirt is a basic white crew neck one from Next and are so cheap to buy, they are £6 each or £5.40 each if you buy more than one, I have these in other colours too. Glasses: My  glasses  are from specsavers and c...
