Burger seasoning recipe

With the weather warming up and the BBQ season well on its way, I wanted to share a recipe with you that is a firm favourite in our house, this recipe will help elevate you BBQ tastes with the yummiest burgers that have so much flavour.  Its such a simple seasoning to make and one that you will be able to store for future use too. 1 tsp Salt 1 tsp Freshly ground black pepper 1 tbsp Paprika 1 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder 1 tsp Onion powder 1/4 tsp Cayenne pepper We add these herbs and spices into a pestel and mortar and given them a good mix together. When the time comes to make these tasty burgers just grab some 5%  mince and shape into burgers, we now have a burger press to make them more even, then when cooking sprinkle some of the seasoning onto the top side of the burger and flip, then repeat till both sides are covered evenly. This will help the seasoning cook into the meat and make the flavour run througout.  Once cooked serve your burgers the way you like, I personally go...

Chicken and Chorizo Enchilada recipe

As a family we have really been enjoying chicken and chorizo enchiladas, its one that we all look forward to and it is honestly so quick and easy to make. We normally serve this with seasoned fries and salad but can be served with other bits too. Recipe:   For 3 people 400g diced chicken thigh 1 tin of red kidney beans (I don't always use the whole tin) 90g diced chorizo 30g chipotle paste 1 garlic clove 100g cheddar 150ml water salt and pepper 4-6 plain tortillas depending on how full you want them Method: Brown off you chicken in a large frying pan with a drizzle of oil. Stir in the garlic, chorizo and chipotle paste and cook for 1 minute Add the beans and stir well, add in the water and bring to the boil Simmer until the sauce thickens and the chicken is cooked Add salt and pepper to taste. lay you tortillas on a board and add the filling, turn up the bottom to close and roll both sides in place in an oven proof dish and sprinkle with cheese, making sure its cov...

Sage and Onion Yorkshire pudding recipe

With Winter just around the corner and more comfort meals creeping into our menu I wanted to share our Sage and Onion Yorkshire pudding recipe with you, we have been using this recipe for years and it's still a winner to this day.  Recipe (Makes 4 large puddings) 100ml Milk 2 large eggs 70g Plain flour 1 tsp Sage 1 tsp Onion salt Salt and pepper Oil for cooking Method 1. In a large jug mix the eggs and flour together as smooth as possible. 2. Slowly pour in the milk mixing well until completely smooth. 3. Add your sage, onion and salt and pepper into the mix and stir in. 4. Place a tbsp of oil into each Yorkshire pudding tin hole and heat for around 15 mins of gas mark 7 5. Pour your mixture into the four holes as even as possible.  6. Cook for around 15 minutes and turn over if possible to cook for another 5 minutes. ( I find this cooks the bottom nicely) 7.
