Cocktails made easy, that's what I can say about tails cocktails. They are ready made cocktails waiting for you all to enjoy. I was kindly gifted two bottles of Tails cocktails from TRND and I was pleasantly surprised by how tasty and easy they make a treat night. In the parcel I received a Passion fruit martini cocktail, a Espresso martini cocktail and a cocktail shaker. 

I firstly tried the passion fruit martini one as that flavour is more my style and I was made up with the flavour of it, the fruitiness was just right but you could also taste the alcohol, this was not overpowering which I am glad about. It was very refreshing and perfect for a summers evening with friends.

I have also tried the espresso martini version, I was a little more reluctant to try this as I was worried it would be bitter but I was pleasantly surprised, It was quite nice but could have done with being a little sweeter for my liking, this one you could not taste the alcohol at all. 

I would highly recommend trying these out, only £12 - £15 a bottle on amazon. They are easy and I am going to definitely but the passion fruit one again.

I have recently started making my own Cottage pie with a recipe that I have tweeted to work four our fussy family. I find that a cottage pie is such an Autumn/Winter staple as it feeling like such a warm, hearty meal, one that is a proper comfort meal.  I recently started making the meal and found that I didn't have a packet mix in so decided to find a recipe to try out, the first one I found sounded good but I changed it slightly to fit our family, Lils isn't keen on fresh onion ad none of us like celery. Burger seasoning recipe

With the weather warming up and the BBQ season well on its way, I wanted to share a recipe with you that is a firm favourite in our house, this recipe will help elevate you BBQ tastes with the yummiest burgers that have so much flavour.  Its such a simple seasoning to make and one that you will be able to store for future use too. 1 tsp Salt 1 tsp Freshly ground black pepper 1 tbsp Paprika 1 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder 1 tsp Onion powder 1/4 tsp Cayenne pepper We add these herbs and spices into a pestel and mortar and given them a good mix together. When the time comes to make these tasty burgers just grab some 5%  mince and shape into burgers, we now have a burger press to make them more even, then when cooking sprinkle some of the seasoning onto the top side of the burger and flip, then repeat till both sides are covered evenly.  The summer holidays can be scary for some parents knowing that there budget doesn't stretch far, I try to keep to a strict budget so we don't go beyond our means, this means that some days are in with free activites and crafts. So here are some free/cheap ideas to keep you and the kids entertained over the holidays.
