Gift ideas for a 10 year old girl | Blogmas

This year has been so much harder to find things for Lilly, she is now at the age where she still likes certain toys but is slowly loosing the love of playing with toys per say. She is into Harry Potter which has given us a few options and I am loving that fact that I can find things that will grow with her

Airbrush tattoo kit

Me and Liam thought that this would be a great gift as she loves having temporary tattoos during half term and summer holidays and now she can create her own, this was in the 2 for £20 and if you check out my gift ideas for a 2 year old we got an item there too. B&M £12.99

Hermione Pop Funko

This is a little bit of a different one, something that she can collect and grow over the years and update as her taste changes with different characters, I feel that she will really appreciate it. Amazon £9.49

LEGO Friends Space academy

This is her main present and I am so excited to be able to build this with her, Lilly has loved space for as long as I can remember and she has loved LEGO friends for many years too, they are slowly changing the LEGO friends and I believe that this may be ones of the last sets with these characters so it is more of a memory one. Amazon £42.99

I believe that she has a great array of items for her using a good budget for the items too, what sort of things are you children into? and what do you remember getting for Christmas at this age?

My mental health

I don't really know why I am writing this but it may help me or someone else in the future, today I am low, very low, I feel very stuck in a rubbish situation and don't see it ever getting better. At the moment money is tight, very tight and it really is getting me down, I feel like I am letting everyone down. I want to be the best person I can be and the best Mum possible to my girls, I want to be able to provide a good life for them and don't want them to even know that we are ever struggling. I suffer from anxiety but this doesn't feel anything like that, this feels like a have got a weight in my heart, one that feels painful too, its like a constant sinking feeling that drains me too. I am tired and emotional and just had enough and I really don't know what to do or how to even take the next step. I really hope that one day soon we don't have to worry so much, that we can live a little more comfortable and that life gives us some luck as the pas

I find that a cottage pie is such an Autumn/Winter staple as it feeling like such a warm, hearty meal, one that is a proper comfort meal.  I recently started making the meal and found that I didn't have a packet mix in so decided to find a recipe to try out, the first one I found sounded good but I changed it slightly to fit our family, Lils isn't keen on fresh onion ad none of us like celery.
