January recap | 2023

We have come to the end of January and I thought that I would do a monthly recap, a way to look back and remember how it was.

January really hasn't been the kindest to us with illness including 2 lots of antibiotics, a punctured tyre and a small hospital stay for my Dad (he's home now). I feel like we need a break from it all and I hope that February is better in many ways.

Some of the more positive things are that I made butter from scratch with some reduced cream. It was surprising tasty and easy to make too. Lilly has received her bronze star for 75 dojo's at school, she has been working so hard towards it and we are so proud of her. Olivia is making great progress with her potty training which is amazing.

I am going into February with a positive mindset and the hope for health for me, I hope to get out more with the girls now that I am feeling better, to try new recipes and to take everything with a pinch of salt.

  2. It sounds like it's a good thing January is virtually over. Roll on February with hopefully some much better experiences.

  3. Sorry to hear that January was so bad for you. I struggled as well and needed two rounds of antibiotics to start getting better. Whatever that virus was, I don't want it again.
