We have recently celebrated world book day and I wanted to share their costumes for 2023, this was the first year that Olivia has joined in and I was so excited for her.
Olivia went to nursery dressed as The Gruffalo by Julia Donaldson, she absolutely loves the book and the animated mini film too so it was a certain one when I saw the costume in Morrisons. She seemed to really enjoy dressing up and was so excited to go and to both her toddler group and nursery to show it off.
Lilly was dressed as Lucy from The Creakers by Tom Fletcher, this was more of a pull it together costume with a little help from ebay for some tights and a pair of dungarees, the t-shirt and goggles we from what we had already. I loved how it turned out and the bonus is that the clothes can be worn again.
How did you celebrate World book day?
Victoria
