10 shows I'd like to see

 I have been into theatre for as l can remember and have also been on stage a fair few times too in some amateur theatre shows but in the last couple of years my love for them has grown and I am making more of an effort to enjoy shows as and when I can.

There are so many amazing shows and there are so many that I would love to see but I am making a list of the top 10 for me in hope that I can manifest them coming close to town or just getting he opportunity to see them. We have 2 shows booked up for the rest of the year so I will not mention them, me and Lilly have Chitty Chitty bang bang booked for November and we have booked to see our local panto in December too.

In order from 1 being the show that I most want to see

  2. Mamma Mia
  3. Heathers
  4. The cursed child
  5. Wicked
  6. Mrs Doubtfire
  7. Billy Elliot
  8. Back to the future
  9. Matilda
  10. The Rocky horror show
These are the main ones that I would love to experience, I have noticed that a few of these are childhood films of mine so they obviously held a place in my heart for a long time.

I have recently started making my own Cottage pie with a recipe that I have tweeted to work four our fussy family. I find that a cottage pie is such an Autumn/Winter staple as it feeling like such a warm, hearty meal, one that is a proper comfort meal.  I recently started making the meal and found that I didn't have a packet mix in so decided to find a recipe to try out, the first one I found sounded good but I changed it slightly to fit our family, Lils isn't keen on fresh onion ad none of us like celery. Burger seasoning recipe

With the weather warming up and the BBQ season well on its way, I wanted to share a recipe with you that is a firm favourite in our house, this recipe will help elevate you BBQ tastes with the yummiest burgers that have so much flavour.  Its such a simple seasoning to make and one that you will be able to store for future use too. 1 tsp Salt 1 tsp Freshly ground black pepper 1 tbsp Paprika 1 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder 1 tsp Onion powder 1/4 tsp Cayenne pepper We add these herbs and spices into a pestel and mortar and given them a good mix together. When the time comes to make these tasty burgers just grab some 5%  mince and shape into burgers, we now have a burger press to make them more even, then when cooking sprinkle some of the seasoning onto the top side of the burger and flip, then repeat till both sides are covered evenly. Summer holidays on a budget | 10 ideas

 The summer holidays can be scary for some parents knowing that there budget doesn't stretch far, I try to keep to a strict budget so we don't go beyond our means, this means that some days are in with free activites and crafts. So here are some free/cheap ideas to keep you and the kids entertained over the holidays. Rock painting and hiding Lego building Pet pals workshop (Pets at home) Den making Baking ( Cookies , Cupcakes ) Cinema (kids club) National trust (vouchers are very useful) Beach/park  Summer reading challenge (local libraries) Scavenger hunt / nature hunt These are just a few things that we get up to in the summer holidays. I normally put these and more in an envelope and get the girls to pick something out when the day is slow or there bored. I really hope these help and would love to hear what you get up to as well.
