Our free spirit Lovevery play kit #AdGifted

We have kindly been gifted another play kit from Lovevery, they are a subscription box based on age appropriate toys for learning vital skills. The box I chose this time is the free spirit play kit based for ages 34-36 months. We have loved exploring these toys and learning new ways to play.

Lovevery have the ideas of playtime with a purpose, each box has a theme which is based on the age play from the The explorer play kit for 9-10 months to the analyst play kit for 46-48 months. They include toys based on the developmental needs, a book with educational but fun stories and a play guide for how to play with the toys and other ways to play age based games.

The free spirit play kit contains wooden camper with locking keys, lets go camping adventure, Now that I'm three book, wooden counting box, land and sky wooden puzzle, solid wood stacking boulders, reach for the stars matching cards and a play guide too.

She has been loving pretty much every item from this box, the camper and keys with the people are brilliant for role play and hand eye co-ordination. The counting box has been amazing for getting Olivia to be more confident in counting to ten and learning how counting actually works.

The wooden puzzle has been slightly frustrating for Olivia to get the bits the right way around but she has really loved learning how to do it and we use the colours to help her position them. The solid stacking boulders are great for hand eye co-ordination and learning about balance. Lastly the book and cards have been great to fill in a few minutes, the book is great to help them learn about what she will slowly be learning.

We again are so grateful to have been sent such a great box, all the toys feel so well made and robust for what toddlers can throw at them. I would highly recommend having a look at what they have to offer.

My mental health

I don't really know why I am writing this but it may help me or someone else in the future, today I am low, very low, I feel very stuck in a rubbish situation and don't see it ever getting better. At the moment money is tight, very tight and it really is getting me down, I feel like I am letting everyone down. I want to be the best person I can be and the best Mum possible to my girls, I want to be able to provide a good life for them and don't want them to even know that we are ever struggling. I suffer from anxiety but this doesn't feel anything like that, this feels like a have got a weight in my heart, one that feels painful too, its like a constant sinking feeling that drains me too. I am tired and emotional and just had enough and I really don't know what to do or how to even take the next step. I really hope that one day soon we don't have to worry so much, that we can live a little more comfortable and that life gives us some luck as the pas

I have recently started making my own Cottage pie with a recipe that I have tweeted to work four our fussy family. I find that a cottage pie is such an Autumn/Winter staple as it feeling like such a warm, hearty meal, one that is a proper comfort meal.  I recently started making the meal and found that I didn't have a packet mix in so decided to find a recipe to try out, the first one I found sounded good but I changed it slightly to fit our family, Lils isn't keen on fresh onion ad none of us like celery.
