September recap | 2026

September flew by in a blur, so much to do and back to the crazy routine of life made it dissappear.  We started off with back to work and school runs. The summer holidays honestly didnt feel long enough. My birthday came on the first weekend, and we took a trip to LZ World tour in Castle Combe. The morning started at 3.30am so we could get on the road for a 3 hour journey. The day was fantastic and I got some lovely presents too. Next was Lillys 14th birthday, her actually birthday fell on a week day so she had a friend round and we enjoyed a takeaway. For her birthday trip we surprised her with a day out in London to see Hamilton , an absolutely fantastic show and one we will definitely see again.  The rest of the month has been a lot quieter with slow weekends and busy weekdays. We've enjoyed watching the sunsets, eating more comfort food and enjoying family time. What's your favorite memory of September? Victoria

January has felt like a slog and what a miserable one for the weather too. Our town never seems to enjoy the large amounts of snow but I am glad that we got some for the girls to throw some snowballs.  The next week was back to work and school, I struggled with this a little as I felt the Christmas holidays went so fast but we are fully back into the flow of it all now.  The next couple of weeks have been full of organising the house and starting to work on the garden too, making it ready for summer so we can take full advantage of it. All in all ita been a slow month but its been needed, I just wish the weather had been brighter and less wet. ...
