A pocket of my life

Easter is fast approaching and I am so ready for it, I have created the girls Easter basket for 2026 and I readlly do hope they enjoy whats in it.  This is something that i do every single year and will contiue to do for years to come, I like to put things in that I know will keep them busy over half term such as stickers, game and crafts. I have a mixture of items from different shops and normally pick up an item a week to spread the cost. This year i have included: Magnetic dress up from The Works Ceramic paint you own eggs x2 from The works Easter pairs game from Morrisons Easter pens from Morrisons Easter stickers from a local warehouse shop Mint areo eggs from Coop I really think that the girls are going to enjoy this and I cannot wait to see there faces when they recieve it.  Victoria x

 Book 4 of 2026 is well on the way and I am so far loving it. Johnny be good is the first one a 2 and a half books, including 2 full books and a novella. The story starts off with a young girl, Meg getting the job that all her friends envy, a personal assistant to a hot, well known rock star, the only problem is she starts falling for him whilst on the job. With a mixture of humour, romance and all inbetween its certainly a book that I struggle to put down and that has me hooked already. I want to know more with the end of every chapter and feel the emotions that Meg is feeling through the story. I found out about this story from the short story book that Paige created called One perfect Christmas and other stories  and i was intrigued. If your looking for an easy read that makes you smile then this is the book for you.  Victoria x

 To Mum,         Its been 9 years since we last since we last spent a Mothers day together, and that one wasn't exactly what you deserved. It was spent woth you in hospital not well.  Weirdly this year was a little bit easier than previous year's, dont get me wrong it still hurt and I will always think of you but I was able to enjoy the day without too much emotion.  Its been a weird year for missing you, some days I feel like the whole world is on my shoulders and I need to vent to you, you were always there to listen and understood my issues. Other days a ok and feel normal in the best sense.  Being a Mum myself on mothers day really does help I think, knowing that I have 2 monkeys to keep my mind occupied and make me smile gives me that sense of purpose for the day. I really hope you are proud of who I have become, and I really do wish you were here to enjoy our story still, to watch the girls grow and finally watch me get married. Love you and...

Animals, rides and a huge play area, what more could you need for a great day out. Drusillas has all this to offer in one area. Last weekend we took a trip across to Drusillas Park, this is a local zoo to us and I was so excited to take the girls back. We arrived around 10.20 so we could make a full day off it. We picked up our zoolympics book and Animal spotter book as we went in and started to find some new furry friends.  On the way round there are tasks to do compare you to animals such as how high can you jump, or how fast can you run, these can be recorded in you zoolympics book. There are stamp areas for you spotter book too. When you enter you are immediately greeting by animals, these are the smaller ones including spider monkeys, sloths and marmosets. The animals are very active in this area and really get you excited for the rest of the visit.  There is one route around so its very hard to grt yourself lost. The animal spotter also keeps you on track too...

Hello March, where did February go?  I feel like February an odd month, I always forget how short this month feels and its only 2-3 days shorter.  We started the month with Lils ending her girl guiding story, sadly her group closed and with her only have a few months till she would be to old for guides she decided not to move groups, this was an emotional night and Lils was sad that she didnt make it to gold during her time there.  The weather for most of February has been wet and miserable but me and Liam ended up building a shed in ankle deep mud which was tiring.  Valentines and half term came around, Liam treated me to a cute mug and teddy and we just enjoyed the evening. The beginning of half term we took a trip to the cinema and the park then I managed to badly sprain my toe and was pretty much off of it for a week.  We did actually end the month with to family trips out, the first was to Arlington raceway to watch banger racing, again the weat...
