A pocket of my life

This is just a little post, one that I cannot believe I am writing. This week me and Liam finally became husband and wife in what I will call a day to remember.  Liam and I have been together 18 years and engaged 17 years so it really has been a long time coming. We have been through so much over the years and I am forever grateful for him and everyone that has helped us get to where we are. I plan on writing more about our wedding in a future post but wanted to share this as soon as possible. Victoria x

CONTAINS SPOILERS Book 6! I actually cannot believe that I am over half way through my target of 10 reads this year. This one is the final book in the series of Johnny be good. Johnny's girl is a novella which ties the story together, there are also a few chapters from the story that come off from this series which follows his daughter.  The story starts about a year on from the last story and gives you a insight to how Johnny and Meg are getting on as a family, they also introduce there new addition to the family.  After restarting there LA life everything comes crashing down and we meet a new arrival, a daughter he never knew about which leads on to a new book series. The novella is quite a short on but I loved being able to see where there story goes, I really have enjoyed the emotion and twists that Paige has managed to bring into her stories.  If you have read the first two books then I would highly recommend finishing with this one.  Victoria 

 For olivia's birthday we decided to take a trip over to Knockhatch adventure park in Hailsham, this is a theme park aimed for children with many different things to do such rides, softplay and animals too. On entering the park we were immediantly welcomed by animals, including rabbits, birds and a walk around with goats and wallabies too. we then took a slow walk around the animal areas, you can buy a pot of feed from the gift shop to make it interactive for all the family. The animals enclosures are  good size, are clean and the animals look happy and well looked after. Olivia even got to stroke some very little lambs. After this Olivia went on the quadapillar, a ride which consists of a gaud pulling some barrel carriages behind, its takes you on a little ride around some of the animals and runds for certain times through the day. After we found the froggy soft play area and cafe, this was great, it is a large space with a good size soft play, plenty ...

April is always an emotional month for me, in good and bad ways but we get through it every year and here we are, saying goodbye to April and hello to May. This month started with half term and Easter, probably one of my favourite parts of the year with baby lambs, flowers and warmer days. I am also grateful for the lighter evenings, it makes everything feel a little less heavy.  We took a trip to tibbs farm for a duck hunt , enjoyed baking and an at home Easter egg hunt, anything to keep the kids occupied when off school. I also managed to take a day for myself and see Waitress in Brighton which was incredible.  It was then back to school/work for us, its only a short term but we have so much to do, along with planning the wedding too. The first day back was the 9th anniversary of losing Mum, I always go to the crematorium with flowers and take a few minutes to remember her.  We celebrated Olivias birthday, my baby girl turned 6!
