30 things I'd love to do | Updated

I have recently been thinking about things that I would love to do in the next chapter of my life, from the little things to huge travel plans, I really do want to make memories and do things that I know my Mum would have loved to do too.
  1.  Go to a big festival
  2. See Harry Potter and the cursed child in London 
  3. Do an escape room
  4. climb Snowdonia
  5. Scuba dive with the fish
  6. Ride in a helicopter
  7. Travel along the Glenfinnan Viaduct on a stream train
  8. Hug a sloth
  9. Visit the Eiffel tower
  10. Do a 5k run for charity (Raced 9/6/2024)
  11. See Heather's the musical
  12. Drove through a safari
  13. Go to a sky dive tunnel
  14. See the Northern lights
  15. Participate in a colour run
  16. Hold a tarantula
  17. Go to a film premiere
  18. See dear evan Hansen
  19. See Wicked the musical
  20. See Mcfly in concert (Seen 9/10/2024)
  21. Go to Disney land
  22. Go to London pride
  23. See Everybodys talking about Jamie (Seen 4/5/24)
  24. Visit America
  25. Get married
  26. Drive a racing car
  27. Go on a Norwegian cruise
  28. Go on the London eye
  29. See Six the musical (Seen 22/12/23)
  30. Visit the harry potter world at universal
What sort of things would be on your list? I have written 30 down but I am sure that there's more, I think I will update this post when I do eventually get around to completing some of these things.

I have recently started making my own Cottage pie with a recipe that I have tweeted to work four our fussy family. I find that a cottage pie is such an Autumn/Winter staple as it feeling like such a warm, hearty meal, one that is a proper comfort meal.  I recently started making the meal and found that I didn't have a packet mix in so decided to find a recipe to try out, the first one I found sounded good but I changed it slightly to fit our family, Lils isn't keen on fresh onion ad none of us like celery. I thought I would share our recipe with you which can easily be adapted if need be. Recipe 500g Beef Mince 1 carton of tomato passata  1 tbs tomato paste 1 beef stock cube 1 beef stock pot 1 tsp onion salt 1 tsp garlic granules 1 tsp mixed herbs 2 medium carrots sliced and part cooked Salt and pepper 3 large potatoes for mash 75g cheese Method 1. Burger seasoning recipe

With the weather warming up and the BBQ season well on its way, I wanted to share a recipe with you that is a firm favourite in our house, this recipe will help elevate you BBQ tastes with the yummiest burgers that have so much flavour.  Its such a simple seasoning to make and one that you will be able to store for future use too. 1 tsp Salt 1 tsp Freshly ground black pepper 1 tbsp Paprika 1 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder 1 tsp Onion powder 1/4 tsp Cayenne pepper We add these herbs and spices into a pestel and mortar and given them a good mix together. When the time comes to make these tasty burgers just grab some 5%  mince and shape into burgers, we now have a burger press to make them more even, then when cooking sprinkle some of the seasoning onto the top side of the burger and flip, then repeat till both sides are covered evenly.  The summer holidays can be scary for some parents knowing that there budget doesn't stretch far, I try to keep to a strict budget so we don't go beyond our means, this means that some days are in with free activites and crafts. So here are some free/cheap ideas to keep you and the kids entertained over the holidays. Rock painting and hiding Lego building Pet pals workshop (Pets at home) Den making Baking ( Cookies , Cupcakes ) Cinema (kids club) National trust (vouchers are very useful) Beach/park  Summer reading challenge (local libraries) Scavenger hunt / nature hunt These are just a few things that we get up to in the summer holidays. I normally put these and more in an envelope and get the girls to pick something out when the day is slow or there bored. I really hope these help and would love to hear what you get up to as well.
