Taking our indoor cat outside with stimulicat | Gifted

Since moving from a flat to a house we have been slowly introducing Jack to the outside world, this is not something that we have taken lightly and are trying to keep him safe whilst learning how to be confident and happy outside.

We have been trying out this new harness from Stimulicat and are impress so far. The harness itself comes in many different colours and sizes suiting all cats, we went for orange with it being a contast to his fur colour. the sizing is easy to work out, Jack in around 5kg which means that we use a size small harness.

The harness itself has a velcro farstening, a safety lock and the lead links through two loops on each side of the fastenings, this to me feels safe and secure yet comfy for Jack. The harness fits nicely around him and doesn't feel like it restricts him at all, and he moves freely with it on around the garden.

I have recently started making my own Cottage pie with a recipe that I have tweeted to work four our fussy family. I find that a cottage pie is such an Autumn/Winter staple as it feeling like such a warm, hearty meal, one that is a proper comfort meal.  I recently started making the meal and found that I didn't have a packet mix in so decided to find a recipe to try out, the first one I found sounded good but I changed it slightly to fit our family, Lils isn't keen on fresh onion ad none of us like celery. Burger seasoning recipe

With the weather warming up and the BBQ season well on its way, I wanted to share a recipe with you that is a firm favourite in our house, this recipe will help elevate you BBQ tastes with the yummiest burgers that have so much flavour.  Its such a simple seasoning to make and one that you will be able to store for future use too. 1 tsp Salt 1 tsp Freshly ground black pepper 1 tbsp Paprika 1 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder 1 tsp Onion powder 1/4 tsp Cayenne pepper We add these herbs and spices into a pestel and mortar and given them a good mix together. When the time comes to make these tasty burgers just grab some 5%  mince and shape into burgers, we now have a burger press to make them more even, then when cooking sprinkle some of the seasoning onto the top side of the burger and flip, then repeat till both sides are covered evenly.  The summer holidays can be scary for some parents knowing that there budget doesn't stretch far, I try to keep to a strict budget so we don't go beyond our means, this means that some days are in with free activites and crafts.
