Book 5 of 2026 is well under way! I really have got into my grove.

Baby be mine is a sequel to Johnny be good written by Paige Toon. It is set a year after there last story and starts off with a very **** question, 'He's not kine, is he?'. This set the story off with wonder and questioning what is going to happen which really draws you in.

Meg Stiles was one a PA to one of the most famous rock stars going, Johnny Jefferson when she fell for his bad boy charm, times changed and she left the job, and Johnny due to his lack of respect. She later moves in with his friend, Christian, and life seems brighter until a silly mistakes causes a whole lot of turmoil for her and many around her.

I am half way through the story already and I honestly find it hard to put down, I want to know more at the end of each chapter. The one thing that I am not liking quite so much is that there is a bit of repetition of the turmoil through the book, being the reader we already know this so feel like it is more for a filler.

Other than that the story line and emotions really do grip you, I have laughed and cried since starting this book.

I have recently started making my own Cottage pie with a recipe that I have tweeted to work four our fussy family. I find that a cottage pie is such an Autumn/Winter staple as it feeling like such a warm, hearty meal, one that is a proper comfort meal.  I recently started making the meal and found that I didn't have a packet mix in so decided to find a recipe to try out, the first one I found sounded good but I changed it slightly to fit our family, Lils isn't keen on fresh onion ad none of us like celery. I thought I would share our recipe with you which can easily be adapted if need be. Shows that I have seen

I have loved anything to do with theatre for as long as I can remember, being part of an amauter dramatic group from the age of 4.  I have also seen a fair few shows over my years and I certainly intend to add many more to this list over time. This will be a blog post that will change with every future show that we watch. I find theatre such a world away from the worries for a while, you delve into someone elses story. Where did May go? It has been and gone within a flash but we have managed to get so much done in just one month! May started off with the end of half term and May day, Hastings celebrates May day in a different way to many people with an event called Jack in the Green . This is a day that I really enjoy, the atmosphere and the mood is so positive and fresh and then you get the added bonus of the bike run too. Its one day that we try not to miss and Lils got to be in the parade too. We have spent lots of time enjoying the garden, cycling and getting out in the sunshine while it lasted. We have planted the sunflowers and started to grow some strawberries too. Still can't believe that we actually have a garden. The next half term was here in a flash, it started with mine and Liam's 17th anniversary, we enjoyed fish and chips on the beach with the girls and just had a really chill day.
